A friend just emailed me wanting to 'live Raw more' after she saw a Facebook post of mine over Christmas indulging in a raw cake my mum made. It got me thinking on how to Live Raw in an easier way as her lifestyle doesn't currently permit her right now to start going overboard with many or the more time consuming or difficult things you sometimes do to Live Raw. I don't want to say too much more about her particular situation, but many people just want to start simply and start moving in the right direction gradually, and so this ideas might help you.
there are amazing things you can do when you combine raw thinking with raw foods and naturei've seen some miraculous changes in many people including myself..yes, for your situation, it's best to simplify.. a few ideas..Some of these ideas might seam a bit simple in there own right depending on how long they've been at this and their own particular situation. Does anyone have any tips for people starting out on a path to Live Raw?here are some of them1. supplies - find a good organic home delivery service, raw tasty shop, or market / co-op that people can help you with getting bulk veggie and superfood supplies. If you have someone who grows or can help you grow veggies in the community, do this. Just hanging around a garden helps them grow and helps you get supply :)2. salads - a few good preferred salad recipes that are easy to throw together that are easily supplied from above. this kind of food preparation takes a lot of load off you from traditional cooked meals 3. blender - your best friend for easy raw mixes / smoothies - start with whatever blender is around and then keep borrowing / sourcing better ones :). I will keep publishing more info on this on www.liveraw.com.au4. juicer - as with the blender above. move towards a twin gear cold pressing one like a hypocrites part start with whatever today. some people just use their blenders as juicers by filtering pulp with a nut mylk bag after blending.5. start small, health up fast by just adding in a bit of juicing and/or blending and/or salads before you eat other processed/cooked stuff and let your body decide how much of your normal diet you reduce. just keep 'adding-in' the raw superfoods.6. Network with other wholefood / organic / raw food people locally and google people/info online. Keep trying things and learn from anyone you network with and especially yourself.. 7. Enjoy it :-) Laugh a lot, enjoy it, have fun with it.. you know how to do this best :)8. Lunch Box - take it all with you when you go anywhere. Work out the best salad mix that you can travel with. Your daily pack might include a thermos maybe with herbal tea, lunch box with salad and a few snacks with nuts, seeds, avocados etcjen, writing this email has inspired me for another blog on the site... probably the most important one.. how to make this stuff easy..
